Kawasaki is a Japanese motorbike manufacturer which has launched Kawasaki ZR-7 in 1999 in the United States and sold till 2003. This model was also sold in 2005 in few other countries. In that time ZR-7S model was also sold in 2005 in other countries. Associated headlight, “S” model fairing, stiffer fork and instrument cluster were some major differences between ZR-7S and ZR-7. Both models had the power of inline 4-stroke, four-cylinder, air and oil cooled, double-overhead-cam DOHC 738cc engine. The engine develops 46.5 lbf.ft (63 N:m) and 57 kW (76 bhp) of torque. It has 5-speed transmission and chain for final drive. The transmission is combined with wet clutch and loaded with neutral finder. It has 800 mm (31.5) inches of seat. The wet weight of ZR-7 is around 231 kg (509 lbs.).
