Subaru is a Japanese automobile manufacturer and is the twenty second biggest production of automaker. Subaru is mainly known for its use of boxer engine layout which is used in most vehicles which is above 1500cc. Subaru also offers turbocharged versions in their passenger cars.

Subaru is the Japanese name which is taken from Pleiades Star Cluster, which means unite and which in turn inspires the Subaru logo. Subaru has used a technology of controller area network which is a high speed technology and runs at 500 Kbit/s. Subaru is thus very well known for its best crash test scores in the automotive world.

Subaru introduced the GL / DL called the Leone in other markets. The sedan broke the new ground by offering four wheel drive capability. It was more benefited from the outdoor sports popularity like skiing and fishing and it became the world’s top selling 4WD vehicle. It also launched a small car based pickup whose cargo bed features of jump seats. It launched theworld’s first developed electronically controlled variable transmission. It has everything in line from the production of compact trucks to family friendly wagons to high performance of cars manufacturing.
