Saab Automobile is a Swedish Car manufacturing company which was established in the year 1945. It was original known as SvenskaAeroplanAktiebolaget. Initially it began its projects to design a small automobile. Then it launched its first automobile in the year 1949.

After ten years later when the Saab 900 was launched it became the bestselling model. With the development and changes with new innovations the car offered few safety measures which included three rear three point seat belts and also rear side impact protection. Also in the year 1997 the new Saab 9-5 is presented which was world famous.

It was very famous for its attention to safety, the curved C pillar and the ergonomics of the vehicle which is especially for the driver. It was the safest car possible which was designed. It was reintroduced for the 9-5, with better innovations and designs having a floor mounted ignition and reverse gear lock.
