MG F/MG TF is designed to be mid engine car. The design is based on the supportive rear wheel drive roadster class. The MG F has undergone facelift in 1999 autumn for the purpose of revising the interiors along with having the styling tweaks and the fresh alloy wheel designs that are excellent to stare at when the car is on the highway. Based on the same MG F platform, the MG TF is designed but with slightly different and enhanced features like the hydragas suspension, conventional coil springs, air –induction system and the newly designed camshafts. All these new features would guarantee that the owner would get more power with MG TF than that is given by MG F.

Also the torsional stiffness is increased by 20% for the body in addition to which one could also find the revised grille and completely redesigned bumpers, rear boot, side air intake grills, headlights etc. All of these changes have made MG TF highly preferred than the older MG F model.
