Yamaha R6 is a motorcycle by Yamaha Corporation, which is a Japanese multinational corporation. The bike is incorporated with a 599cc, in-line 4-cylinder, DOHC engine with titanium valves. It is light, powerful and spiky with a cutting-edge technology. The presence of back torque limiting, slipper-type clutch facilitates the braking or downshifting from very high speed and the close-ratio 6-speed transmission delivers seamless power and maximum acceleration. There is twin-injector fuel injection; these are shower-type injectors above each intake fuel that help in optimum fuel atomisation at high rpm. The dual-injector system complements high compression ratio.
