Nissan S30 is known to be the first of the series of Nissan and it was a two seat coupe. There were several variants launched by the Datsun but all of them had a 4-wheel independent suspension that helped in offering a smooth ride. The main reason it became popular in the US markets is because it had a relatively cheap price than the other sports cars at that time.
