The Infiniti Q50 was the replacement for the outgoing G37 sedan from Infiniti and marketed as Infiniti luxury brand by Nissan. In 2013 the model was introduced at the North American Auto Show and in the third quarter of 2013 it was sold in North America. European sale followed in the fourth quarter of 2013. A customer can also opt for a hybrid model. It is based on the Infiniti Essence concept shown in 2009. It is also known by the name of Nissan Skyline and the design was offered by Shiro Nakamura. It is available in the body style of a 4-door sedan with front engine layout with optional all-wheel or rear-wheel drive. There are four engine variants ranging from 2.0L to 3.7 L petrol and 2.1 L diesel, which are coupled to either 7-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. The car has a wheelbase of 112.2-inches. The early models of the car also included a hybrid car in its range.
