The two designs named as familiale and commerciale in the estate body make of the Peugeot 403 would give different set of features to the end users. For example, the familiale would offer third row of seats thus enabling the vehicle to be referred to as offering the 7/8 seats configuration for the customers. However, the commercial version offered the same old conventional seat configuration yet being comfortable for the driver and passengers.
