Yamaha FZR1000 was manufactured from 1987-1995 and it was classified as Sport bike. It had an engine measuring 1,003cc which was 20-valve inline-4 liquid cooled. It was able to produce a power of 145hp and 78.8lb torque and the 1987-1988 model was able to generate 136hp. it had a transmission of 5-speeds and was able to store 5.0 US gallon. Yamaha FZR1000 weighed 209kg dry and the seat height was fixed at 30.3-inches. The 1989 version was given the title of the “Bike of the Decade” and was able to accelerate to 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds. It was able to hit a peak sped of 167mph.  The Exup name was achieved by the unique feature of Exhaust Ultimate Power Valve it was the unique four-stroke power valve system of Yamaha, an exhaust valve driver by servo motor. The valve system was also used in YZF models from 1998 onward.
