Not only this, it is also a fact that can’t be underrated that MINI would be the only auto manufacturer that has been producing a series of vehicles built on a contractual basis located in the Netherlands. It is the BMW Group now that is benefitting from the choicest location of the VDL Nedcar site in terms of supply chain and logistics, owing to its propinquity to the UK MINI production network with its sites in the Oxford, the Swindon as well as the Hams Hall. It is now the time for the BMW Group to boost up its significance in the Netherlands in an efficient demeanor while making this region integrated to the MINI Hatch’s success stratagem.
According to Dr. Klaus Draeger, who visited Born, his comments pertaining to the plant are vital. He said that Contractual production is a core flexible tool for the Company, as the experience the Company has gained in a span of the past ten years has been significantly positive, in the sense that the best task force is available for the kind of work required.Photo 2: It is official: BMW’s MINI Hatch on production spree at VDL Nedcar
