The first release in Opel Corsa is designed to have front wheel drive which shows this belongs to the next generation cars unlike the rest all models. Its production started in 1982 which is the beginning of the revolution made in car industry to include all sorts of advanced features. Almost all of the releases are built on the Gamma Platform. There are really good options for the end user to pick from the regular 4 door sedan, 3 door van for cargo carrying, 2 door couple utility, and the traditional 3 or 5 door hatch. The transmission is in three forms with 5 speed manual, 5 speed semi-automatic and the 4 speed fully automatic. There are nearly 10 versions of petrol engines while only 3 versions are released in diesel engines. The series 1.0L, 1.2L, 1.3L, 1.4L, 1.8L are all petrol series, and the one and only one 1.7L is the diesel but under three different variants like DI14, DTI14 and CDTI14.
