The Pontiac Grand Am has come in two different runs in the market from the year 1973 to the year 1975 and from 1978 to 1980. The Grand AM that appeared in the second generation has quite a good number of standard equipment like the power front disc brakes, power steering, full instrumentation, turbo hydra-matic transmission employed cubic inch V8 designed engine with the support rendered by two barrel carburetor. All of these enabled the car to generate the horsepower of 140hp at 100 kW. One would also get the optional design with 155 hp, four barrel carburetor with the same 301 V8 engine. The other common yet comfort options are the whitewall and white-lettered tiles, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power windows and seats, sunroof, snowflake wheels and few more components that made the model totally acceptable by new generation aspirants look for the best car from the market.
