Ducati Sport Touring series is also known as ST series contain Italian sport touring motorcycles that were made by Ducati between 1997 and 2007. There were three major models released during these 10 years, namely; ST2, ST4/ST4s, and ST3/ST3s. The first one of the series is ST2 that was first developed in Europe. It is interesting to note that although the ST was basically released to replace the Paso but it also showed a serious interest from Ducati into the burgeoning Sport Touring market.

There isn’t a major difference between the ST2 and ST4 and the only notable thing was their engines and a few minor differences in the construction of the frame and in electrical system. Moreover, it wasn’t until 2004 when both the ST2 and ST4 were phased out and were replaced by the ST3 which was failed miserable as only 1,011 units were sold worldwide in 2007.
