Hyundai Veloster car is sports compact model hatchback coupe manufactured by the Hyundai Motor Company since 2011. The car has been aimed to capture the youth market and is a sub-brand of Premium Youth Lab of Hyundai. Unveiled in the beginning of 2011 in the Detroit show the car took over from the discarded Hyundai Tiburon. The Veloster is available in the body styles of 3-door hatchback coupe and 2-door hardtop convertible and it is designed with FF layout. The car is related with Kia Forte Koup and Kia Pro Cee’d. Engine options include a 1.6 litre Gamma G4FD GDI I4, 1.6 litre Gamma G4FC I4 model and 1.6 litre Gamma G4FJ turbo GDI I4 which are couple to three transmission options namely six speed manual, six speed automatic and six speed with advance dual clutch transmission. The Veloster’s wheelbase is measured at 104.3-inches and structural dimensions read like 166.1inches length, 70.5-inches width and 55.1-inches height. The vehicle has a curb weight of 1,172kg to 1,363 kg depending on the engine choice.
