Kia Soul is a compact class car showcased in the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The car design was created by the Kia design center located in California and its global marketing began with 2010 model year with production being carried out in South Korea. The vehicle is still in production at various assembly plants across Asia including China. The body style of the Kia Soul is a 5-door hatchback and it has a FF layout. The Hyundai i20 is related to this car. Powertrain found in the models include 1.6L Gamma I4, 2.0L Beta II I4 1.6L diesel, 1.6L Gamma GDI I4 and 2.0L Nu I4. There are four transmission option available for consumers, which include 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
