The production of Dodge Caliber was started in 2007 and it was a really good looking compact car offered for sale by the Dodge division of Chrysler. The purpose of launching the Caliber was to replace the Neon which had been discontinued in 2005. At first it was offered for sale as a five-door hatchback in the starting of 2006 however most of the people confuse it to be a station wagon or a crossover because of its appearance.
The great thing about the Caliber is that the company decided to include 20% of the budget on online marketing and at the time of launch of Caliber, three models were available and the 4th one arrived later. The SE model of the Caliber also arrived later which had a front-wheel drive and a 1.8 L 148 hp (110 kW). SXT and R/T models were also released later for Dodge Caliber.
