Lada Kalina is an extra mini car which is manufactured by Lada, a Russian automaker, in the year 2004. The title “Kalina” is Russian which represents a kind of viburnum. In Finland, it was sold as Lada 119.
In the year 2012, second generation model of Lada Kalina was introduced in Moscow International Show. Literally, it is face lifted by first generation model. It has slightly increased length and wheelbase and it is produced in wagon and hatchback form only. For export production, all the interior controls are introduced just like Lux models.
It has seen some technical enhancements like four airbags, ESP, ABS, touch-screen navigation, music system, climate control, air conditioning, light and rain sensors, automatic transmission. It features 1.6 liter two petrol engines of 16 and 8 valves, to produce 68 to 78 kW or 91 to 105 HP and torque of 14 to 15 m:kgf.
