Maserati Ghibli was manufactured by the Italian auto manufacturer Maserati and it was assembly at the Modena plant in Italy during 1967 to 1973. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro the car was manufactured as a 2-door coupe and 2-door spider. Conceived with a FR layout the Maserati Ghibli was offered with the Powertrain consisting of either a 4.7 L V8 or 4.9L V8 coupled to either a 5-speed ZF manual or 3-speed automatic which is optional. Ghibli. Three different cars with Ghibli name was produced and the Ghibli IIand Ghibli III were manufactured in 1992 to 1997 and from 2013 onwards. The wheelbase of the vehicle was 100-inches and structural dimensions were 190 inches length, 70 inches width and 46 inches height. Kerb weight of the car was about 1770kg and the first generation Ghibli was succeeded by Maserati Khamsin, Maserati Bora and Ghibli II. Ghibli figured in the top ten sports car list of the 60s scoring 9th spot.
