This can be considered as the best sports car for the new generation as it has got the turbo charged engine with the four cylinder design implemented for the engine. Rear wheel drive approach is preferred for this model due to which it was quite easy for the driver to control the speed of the car even when the four seat arrangement is fully occupied with passengers. The Starion 4WD is introduced with the overwhelming features like the engine location changed to be back in the chassis area thus enabling better weight distribution in front and rear ends. However, few things have not changed like using the regular headlights than the pop up headlights thus giving six inches shorter nose which in turn helped saving weight counting to several pounds. The driveshafts, sump guard and lower arms for suspension are all made of carbon fiber thus resulting in further weight control. The fiberglass usage for the hood, door skins, bumpers, fenders, spoilers and the tailgate has resulted in the final weight less than 1000Kg thus calling this model as the light weight car.
