It is official: BMW’s MINI Hatch on production spree at VDL Nedcar

The BMW affirmed that the new car on the block viz., the MINI Hatch, that was being produced at a plant in Oxford previous year, would also be given its completion in the Netherlands starting from the summer of 2014 onwards. The two dignitaries BMW AG’s Board Member Dr. Klaus Draeger and Harald Kruger, were present at the VDL Nedcar, the manufacturers (contractual basis) in Born, beautiful city Netherlands.

Not only this, it is also a fact that can’t be underrated that MINI would be the only auto manufacturer that has been producing a series of vehicles built on a contractual basis located in the Netherlands. It is the BMW Group now that is benefitting from the choicest location of the VDL Nedcar site in terms of supply chain and logistics, owing to its propinquity to the UK MINI production network with its sites in the Oxford, the Swindon as well as the Hams Hall.
