The initial releases in Peugeot 305 are having the option to select from the two petrol engines with different power specifications of 1290 cc at 65PS/48 kW giving around 64 hp that is employed in almost all of the GL and GR models. The other variant in petrol engine is the 1472 cc with 74PS / 54 kW giving roughly 73 hp is best for the top specification SR model. The next release is the GRD release significantly indicated with the letters “GRD” that is situated on the boot or trunk ID. This GRD release is supported by the 1548 cc super power from the diesel version of the aluminum engine block. The combination of the diesel engine with the overhead camshaft and the injection pump would give the ultimate power range of 49 hp which is quite appreciable for the diesel version. The added speed and performance is attained with the excellent and durable front wheel drive operating gearbox.
