The Piaggio Typhoon comes in two variants one in 50 and the other in 125. The model 50 gives the power of 49 cc with the four valve, four stroke engine. This engine is likely to develop output of 3.4 kW at 9500 rpm, torque 3.8 Nm with 8000 rpm with which the individual can drive at a considerable speed even in between the city traffic. The fuel consumption is evaluated at 144 mpg with the 1.8 L fuel tank. With the ergonomic handlebar and the flat footrest the riding was quite comfortable in the upright position.
The 125 model would give the 124cc with the single cylinder operating engine powered by 1.8 L but with fuel consumption of 90mpg which is because of the increased power at 124 cc. For more strength the model is made of the tubular steel frame. Both of these models are designed to operate with the so called hydraulic telescopic fork and single shock absorbers ensuring safety.
