There was high demand for Dodge Caravan at the time when Dodge decided to launch Caravan to fulfil the needs of the customers. The production of Dodge Caravan was started in the year 1984 and the nameplate variant of Caravan was the Plymouth Voyager. There are other nameplates of the Voyager too like Chrysler Voyager.
