While the Admiral and Kapitan has claimed to be the luxurious car for the period 1938 and around, the Opel Diplomat did the same for the period 1964 to 1977 with the releases happening under two big sections like Diplomat A(1964 to 1968) and Diplomat B(1969-1977).
