One of the rear wheel drive sedan made available in Pontiac is the Pontiac G8. Though there are numerous variants few of which are even cancelled before even releasing into the market the latest variant that has made its debut in the market in the year 2009 is the G8 GXP version which is powered with the 415 horsepower at 309 kW power operating with 6.2 L V8 engine. The engine design is better supported with the 6 speed automatic transmission for which the six speed manual transmission is made as the optional alternative. The lineup in G8 adds enough of standards like the Bluetooth technology and XM satellite radio. While supporting all of the old G8 standard colors four new colors have been introduced into the market like the Sport Red, Pacific Slate, Stryker blue and the Maverick silver metallic. Only two old colors Stealth blue and the Ignition orange are not available since the year 2009. The new colors along with the old colors however give a tough choice for the end users to pick the car color.
