The Pontiac Grand Prix is made available as full size car as well as mid size car in the personal luxury car sector. Of the seven generations, the seventh generation has run from the year 2004 to 2008 within which one could find four different grouping options set as GT1, GT2, GTP and GTP Comp G. Both the GT1 and GT2 are designed to have the series III 3800 V6 engine giving out the horsepower of 200 hp at 150kW with maximum torque of 310 Nm. The later two GTP have the same technology based engine to that of GTs but supercharged to give extra power at 260 hp at 195 kW at maximum torque of 380 Nm.
The latest is the Comp G which has all the extended features like the red painted brake callipers, heads up display, sport tuned suspension, 3.29 axle ratio, high performance tyres, Stabili Trak dynamic control system and the 4 speed automatic transmission. Each of these features made the car completely acceptable as the mid size as well as full size car.
