The A5 checked Audi's come back to the reduced official roadster market since the (B3/b4) Audi 80-based car model finished generation in 1996. The B6/b7 A4 brought forth a convertible variant however not similar to a coupe.
A5 1.8 TFSI Coupé produced between 2007 and 2008 had 1,798 cc (109.7 cu in) power, I4 turbo (CABD) 125 kW (170 PS; 168 hp)@6200 rpm, and had a displacement of 250 N·m (184 lbf·ft)@1500-4800 rpm. The subsequent A5 1.8 TFSI which was introduced in 2009 had a1,798 cc (109.7 cu in) I4 turbo (EA888) (CDHB) engine, 118 kW (160 PS; 158 hp)@6200 rpm power capacity and 250 N·m (184 lbf·ft)@1500-4500 rpm displacement.
