As an aftermath of the World War the IInd, there were few choices left as civilian Automotives from the Bentley were brought back into the line of manufacture, and the factory relocation was done as it got moved from Derby to Crewe, England. Stationed there, the engineers from Bentley manufactured the R-Type Continental(s) for three subsequent years in a row beginning from the year 1952 to the year 1955. These vehicles got derived from the originally innovative R-Type version(s) coming from the IInd series that comprised of the Bentley postwar luxury car-make. The bodily frame of the R-Type Continental got into its independent production and sales zoomed in the form of customized coach building units. Being one of the costliest automotives of the world, only fewer numbers of 208 R-Type Continentals were made in totality. After the R-Type Continental, the Continental prototypes: S1, S2 and S3 got on the rampage post commencement of their production from the year 1955, consecutively.
