BMW i8 is the “BMW Concept Vision Efficient Dynamics” car by the German automaker BMW. It is regarded to be the sport car of the future. It is a hybrid petrol-electric hybrid car 2+2 car with a capacity to propel from 0-60 miles in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is 155 mph. It is made of carbon fibre and aluminium. The BMW i8 is all about performance and fuel-efficiency. It is incorporated with an electric motor that delivers an output of 131 horsepower and 250 NM torque, on the front axis. On the rear axis is the twin power turbo-diesel cylinders, it is an ultimate light unit that delivers an output of 231 HP and 320 NM of torque. This makes to a 154 HP/litre engine. Together the electric and petrol motor delivers a combined power of 362 HP which is good for a top speed of 250 kmph.
