The Pony was a straightforward car, and demonstrated a flawless establishment for its producer to expand upon. It was at first propelled as a hatchback four-door, yet was the extent soon stretched - the pick-up variant was included in May 1976; upgraded in April 1977; and three-door hatchback in March 1980. These early cars are to a great degree uncommon in the UK as the organization didn't really begin importing here until 1981 - and the accompanying year, the face lifted Pony II was propelled. They were sold in the plan segment, demonstrating intense resistance for the secured players, for example, Lada and Skoda. The Pony II was a checked change regarding quality and refinement, making it an impressive player in this intense business area.
