The Suzuki Van Van has a four-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with 125 cc displacement producing 11.8 hp (8.8 kW) @ 9500 rpm. It has a six speed gearbox and chain drive, chunky tires, a dry mass of 117 kg and a seat height of 770 mm. The 'retro' styled Suzuki RV125 is classed as a dual purpose bike, capable of cruising urban and suburban streets at 60 mph (97 km/h) or riding on sandy or rough trails. It is not designed for heavy mud trails. From 2007 the Van Van comes with fuel injection instead of the carburetor featured on earlier models.
It is often referred to as a 'sand bike', as its low-pressure wide-section rear tire helps grip and propel the bike across loose surfaces. Simple, practical and reliable, the Suzuki Van Van 125 is a rugged motorcycle designed with versatility in mind. It features a retro style that gives it a pretty unique look that reminds us about the old school motorcycles.
