When people talk about Toyota Century being a larger four-doored limousine they are not bragging. The Limo being manufactured specially for the Japanese automotive market, has served as the car under Toyota flagship. Century was in its novice stages in the year 1967 and then the car model got only minor makeover changes before redesigning happened in the year 1997. The Century got its name derived as the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sakichi Toyoda, the founder of Toyota Industries came forth. Century was made available carrying a V8 engine, being the 3rd sedan built in the post-wartime Japan it is now only powered with a V12 engine of Japanese make available to the Century. Century is a premium vehicle a full sized luxury sedan that is not on avail at the Japanese Lexus dealerships; it can only be purchased at Toyota Store locations. The external stylizing of the Century comes with minor alterations to let it remain as appealing as ever since its introduction, abiding with its socially important status that comes along with the ‘preferable vehicular conservative successes’. It is iconic in Asia, usually painted soot-black in color.
