Earlier known as the Triumph T595 Daytona, this bike was later renamed to Daytona 955i as the previous name gave the impression that the displacement capacity was 595 cc as compared to the actual 955 cc. Daytona 955i gained large sales during the early ears and around the 2002 release phase when the design has undergone major changes and up gradations. But otherwise, the bike was unable to make its mark and hence had to be discontinued from production in 2006. This model was largely known for the superb styling of the bonnet which covered the engine and surrounding parts, hence giving an extremely clean and uncluttered look to the bike. The plus points of this bike are the speed, stability, brakes and engine sound. The negative points of this bike include weight, which could be reduced, pick up and streamlining. Had Daytona 955i been released five years earlier, it would have broken all records.
