There is a lot of history attached to Dodge avenger as we still see the latest model of it nowadays. When launched for the first time in 1975 in South Africa, it was a front wheel drive and a mid-size sedan. The great thing about it is that it is ranked on number 21 in most affordable midsized sedans according to the latest standings of 2014. In United States of America, it was launched as a 2 door coupe and the 4 door sports sedan version was released in 2008.
Dodge Avenger had a lot in common with Dodge Daytona which was not produced after 1993. There were a lot of changes made in the Dodge Avenger and ABS was used for the first time in ES models in 1999. Dodge Avenger Sedan was launched in 2008 to replace Dodge Stratus which was very popular at that time and this sedan had a 2.4 L engine.
