The Ducati Monster is a motorcycle manufactured by Ducati and has been in production since 1993. It is assembled at Bologna, Italy and is distinguished by it being a naked bike. It is built with a trellis frame which is intended to enhance the structural efficiency and aesthetic appeal. In the Ducati world class bike sales the Monster accounted more than half. These bikes use the 90o V-twin engines exclusively and desmodromic valves along with the trellis tubular steel frame. The power of V-twin is controlled by a 6-speed transmission and the bike weighs between 168 and 177kg. The wheelbase of the bike is 57 inches and the driver is seated at the height of 30 to 31 inches. Over the years the Monster had gone through several chances starting from the 400cc entry level to the high performing 130hp Superbike engines. The bike is also highly favored for customizing due to its elemental simplicity.
