The BMW X1 is offered in sdrive28i, xdrive28i and xdrive35i trim levels, where sdrive means back wheel drive and "xdrive" implies all-wheel drive. The 28i forms accompany a turbocharged 2.0 liter inline-4 that produces 240 strength and 260 pound-feet of torque. The AWD-just 35i packs a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 with 300 hp and 300 lb-ft. An eight-velocity programmed is standard for the four-barrel, while the 35i's six-chamber is matched to a six-rate programmed.

Standard gimmick highlights of the 28i trims incorporate 17-inch wheels, programmed atmosphere control, leatherette upholstery, Bluetooth telephone integration, the idrive hardware interface and an eight-speaker sound framework with an ipod/USB interface. The xdrive35i includes 18-inch wheels, versatile bi-xenon headlights, a surrounding sunroof and eight-way power front seats.
