The Ford Motor Company of Canada was founded by Henry Ford and is a subsidiary of the Ford Motor Company of US. Founded in 1904 its headquarters was established in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The company serves the entire Canada and the United States. The company is engaged in manufacturing mainstream and performance vehicles along with automotive parts. Ford Canada also provides Automotive Finance, vehicle service and vehicle leasing. Ford Canada has its own website. The company was started with the intention of selling automobiles from Ford to Canada and the British Empire. Walkerville Wagon Works was its original name when it was started and the founder convinced investors to do a business deal with Ford who was manufacturing automobiles just nearby in Detroit. The first car to roll out of its plant was Model C in September 1904. The assembly plant had the capacity of producing 2 cars at a time and in its first year production it produced a total of 117 cars.
