Triumph Bonneville is a great motorcycle introduced by Triumph to fulfill the needs of the English motorcyclists and is boasts of a great history. Introduced in the late fifties, the first model received tremendous response from the buyers and the 650 cc engine generated a lot of anticipation prior to the release. The performance and the power associated with the motorcycle were appreciated by many and in England it continued to stay on top of the best seller list for a long time. After the initial splurge, the sales experienced a dip due to tough competition from the Japanese counterparts in terms of power, handling and style. The robust motorcycle is known for the heavy weight, robust body parts and a tough outlook and became popular among the café racers due to these qualities. The latest version of “Bonnie” came out in 2007 with the engine upgraded to 860 cc and the size of the fuel tank enlarged.
