TriumphTR6 is a sports car with 6-cylinders to have come from Triumph between 1969 and 1976. It was the largest seller of the TR range when its manufacturing was stopped in July 1976. Its record was only overtaken by the TR7 later. Out of the 94, 619 units produced 86,249 were exported and only 8, 370 TR6 were sold at the UK market. TR6’s body work very much resembled its predecessor Triumph TR5 and only the front and rear ends were shaved off square which involved the consultancy with Karmann. The name Kamm tail has been derived from this outcome and this feature was rampant at that time in most cars of that era. All the TR6s sports models had inline 6-cylinder engines and the models for the US market were featured with carburetors, so was the TR250 US-only engine. The fuel injection enabled the car to produce 150bhp when the model was introduced.
