Triumph TR3 is a sports model car manufactured by Standard Triumph of England between 1955 and 1962. The popular model with a facelift known as TR3A was commissioned for manufacturing in 1957 and the last version of the model, the TR3B was manufactured in 1962. Assembly of the bike was done in various locations that included Coventry, England, Melbourne, Australia, South Africa and Mechelen, Belgium. The car had a FR layout and was classified as a sports car and the Powertrain featured a 1991cc straight 4 engine mated to 4-speed manual overdrive. The car had a wheelbase of 88-inches and was 151-inches in length, width of 56-inches and height of 50-inches. The Triumph TR3 at curb weight tipped the scale at 955kgs. The sports car was preceded by Triumph TR2 and its successor was Triumph TR4. The TR3 was truly designed for sunny weather and there was removal protection from rain.
